When you outgrow your ’standard’ hosting account, you may well assume that a VPS or dedicated server is the only solution to accommodate your growing needs. But BBeXtreme Hosting bridges the gap between shared hosting and servers, giving you many more resources for your busy web sites without the hassle of having to learn how to set up and administer your own dedicated server.

Our “Big Box” servers (hence the BB in our name!) are empowered with a minimum of dual-core processors, plenty of RAM, and SATA II disk drives with RAID1, all tuned and tweaked for optimum web-serving performance, and then set to a limit of just 12 customers per server to ensure that each web site gets eXtreme resources when faced with a lot of visitors - Ideal for busy forums, e-commerce sites and image and multimedia galleries. Additional servers are set as primary mail processors, checking all your incoming emails for virus and spam and then delivering the rest to your account, allowing the server your account is hosted on to concentrate on delivering your web site content to the world.

For your peace of mind (and ours!) we don’t just back up our servers to protect ourselves in case of total failure, we back up each and every domain hosted on our eXtreme servers to secure, remote storage every week and every month, giving you an additional level of fall-back. (Of course there can never be too many backups, so we urge you to make your own regular backups too). For ultimate protection, we have additional cold-swap servers on stand-by in the data-centers to which we can recover a complete server if necessary.

Our eXtreme servers are hosted in state of the art PEER1 data-centers with over 500 peering relationships with other networks and four Tier 1 upstream providers (MCI, Savvis, AT&T and Sprint) to ensure that your web sites enjoy truly international quality connectivity.

If you haven’t registered a domain yet, we have over 85 TLDs and ccTLDs (the part of the name after the DOT) for you to choose from, and our multi-point international DNS name-server cluster will ensure that your site visitors and emails will always find you.
